Постепенно реализуемые государственные облигации
Облигации, выпускаемые на рынок по мере предъявления спроса («through the tap»). Когда государство проводит эмиссию новых облигаций, весь тираж редко удается разместить полностью. Оставшаяся часть облигаций постепенно распродается на рынке фирмой, «делающей» рынок( ранее государственным брокером), которая регулирует количество и цены облигаций (подобно включению и выключению крана). Продажа Банком Англии государственных казначейских векселей и облигаций напрямую государственным учреждениям, у которых образовались временные финансовые излишки.
